Hybernská is coming to life: A new office building with Zaha Hadid's signature will be built in the Masarycka neighbourhood

The transformation of the area around Masaryk Station continues. Penta has obtained a building permit for a new multifunctional building in Hybernská Street, on the site of the former post office adjacent to Masaryk Square. The project, internally named Hybe, will complement the already completed Florentinum, Masarycka and Cloud One hotels.
Jakub Klaška, who spent years in Zaha Hadid's studio and was responsible for the realisation of Masarycka after her death, is an interesting name behind the architectural design. The new building is thus naturally linked to the character of the place - Hadid is in its DNA.
What will the building offer?
Hyba will bring premium office space and a retail parterre on the ground floor. The architectural approach honours the history of the site - the design works with the original elements of the building, such as the cornices, façade structure and distinctive textures, and translates them into a contemporary architectural language.
Why is this address interesting?
The location near Masaryk Station is one of the most accessible in Prague - the metro, train and trams are literally around the corner. And with the progressive transformation of the entire block, the attractiveness for tenants looking for a representative office address in the city centre is growing.
