Prague issues building permits: four residential projects in one week

The Prague Building Authority experienced an unusually productive week in mid-March - between 16 and 19 March, four developers received building permits: Horizon Holding, CPI, Geosan and Central Group.

In Čimice, Prague 8, Horizon Holding received permits for the transport infrastructure of the third phase of the Nad Čimickým Údolím project, which will provide approximately 400 new apartments on the site of a former military complex. The first two phases of the project have already successfully delivered hundreds of units.

Although permits are gradually increasing, the Prague residential market is still suffering from a lack of new supply. Lengthy permitting processes are holding back construction and demand for apartments in Prague far exceeds what the market currently offers.
